How does the HND QS course differ from a degree in Quantity Surveying?
The HND QS is a two-year Level 5 qualification, equivalent to the second year of a UK degree. It is more practical and vocationally focused than a three-year academic degree, making it faster to complete and better suited for students who want to enter employment quickly. Graduates can then use the HND as a pathway to complete a BSc top-up degree in one additional year if they wish to achieve full degree-level status.
