What is an HRM Degree?
A Human Resource Management degree is an undergraduate qualification, usually a BBA or BSc in Human Resource Management, that teaches you how to manage the most important asset of any organisation: its people. In Sri Lanka it is offered by state universities and many foreign-affiliated private institutes, blending management theory with the local labour and employment context.
The programme covers the full employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to training, performance management, compensation and exit. Graduates are equipped to work in HR departments across banking, apparel, manufacturing, IT and the public sector.
